Conversations with Thought Leaders: Jason Fried of 37signals

Fried and his cohorts at 37signals are community builders and successful entrepreneurs. Their suite of software products, including Highrise and Basecamp, have been embraced by well over a million people worldwide. Here, Jason talks about revenue, growth projections, how the company responds to customers, and what people's miconceptions are about the firms bold and sometimes outspoken approach to doing business.

The company also chronicles trends and product developments at their widely read blog, signal vs. noise.

Jason spoke at, and was an organizer of, the 3rd annual Seed Conference, a daylong event devoted to design, entrepreneurship and inspiration. It was held on June 6, 2008 at Crown Hall on the IIT campus. The event drew 300 people and also featured principals from Coudal.com, SkinnyCorp, Segura and WineTV.
