Domek founded TicketsNow.com, an online marketplace for event tickets, in 1999 and sold it to TicketMaster in January 2008. Here he talks about the lessons he learned as an entrepreneur. The segment was filmed at the Tech Cocktail Conference on May 29, 2008.
The company took $34 million in VC funding in 2006 and 2007, according to VentureBeat. Adams Street Partners led the round, which also included DFJ Portage Venture Partners and New World Ventures. The company brought in CEO Cheryl Rosner in June 2007.
