In a nutshell, here's how their business application works: companies post all their internal digital media — video of CEO speeches, audio of sales presentations, etc. — to a secure Liquid Talk portal (aka a "Library") where employees can then download it to an MP3 device and consume it offline at their leisure. It's Apple-style simplicity.
Founded by Dave Peak and Dan Anderson, LiquidTalk is currently targeting its sales efforts at the high-tech and health care communities.
The company, which has offices in the IIT University Technology Park, recently landed several million dollars in Series-A funding from Meakem Becker Venture Capital in Pittsburgh.
